GMoA offers a variety of educational classes, workshops, tours, and activities for adults, from studio classes to workshops and more!

CURRENT ADULT PROGRAMS AT GMOA

    The Artist's Studio

    Enjoy one-on-one instruction in a variety of media and in a supportive studio environment. Gail Ritzer received her B.S. in Art Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an M.F.A. in Ceramics and Painting from East Carolina University. These classes are held at the GMoA Education Building.

    Time:
    Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:00 - 3:00pm
    Price (Block of 4 Classes): $60 for GMoA Members, $70 for Non-Members

  • Painting with Gail

    Join us at the Greenville Museum of Art Education Building for an introduction to painting and mixed media course led by Gail Ritzer. This is open to all skill levels and those interested in developing their artistic skills and expression in an engaging environment. Participants will learn skills in acrylic painting techniques, color mixing, and design. In the second half of the course, participants will learn how to refine style and experiment with surfaces and new mediums including collage to create unique layered artworks.

    Dates: January 15 to February 19, 2025
    Time: Wednesdays, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
    Price (6 Classes Total): $90 for GMoA Members, $120 for Non-Members


GMOA ADULT ART OUTREACH PROGRAMS

GMoA is proud to partner with other local organizations and programs to provide free arts education classes for underserved adults in our community. Current GMoA adult outreach programs include the following locations:
