Visual Arts Academy MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to provide an avenue of development for students in Pitt County who exhibit high aptitude, interest and skills in the visual arts. THE ACADEMY EXPERIENCE Our goal is to give select visual art students a unique learning experience. Students are mentored by visual art educators, licensed by the state of North Carolina. These educators work with your child to further their learning within the bounds of the N.C. Standard Course of Study in the Visual Arts. We facilitate the education, exploration and application of artistic learning in a more expansive and guided studio setting.
