Visual Arts Academy
The GMA is proud to announce that we are expanding our Visual Art Academy to include a summer program called Summer Art Ventures. The program will occur the week of July 16-20 from 1-4 pm and will be taught by VAA instructor Katherine Kestler.
Summer Art Ventures is an invitation only, week-long camp designed for rising high school students. The program will focus on the student’s development of art ideas. Students will be expected to create an art work based on a theme using a variety of art media. We are basing this summer’s theme on “HONEY: Colony Collapse Disorder, Art, and Social Change”, inspired by the GMA’s recent spring exhibition.
