Classes & Workshops
Fall of 2011, the Greenville Museum of Art opened the doors of its new GMA Center for Art Education. GMA Center for Art Education (CAE) is located at 806 S. Evans Street, (next door to the Museum). The building will provide an educational and multipurpose space for Visual Arts Academy, as well as expanded GMA art education programs for children and adults.
Funding for the building and property was given to the Museum by Mrs. J. Fred (Nell) Webb, a lifelong supporter and patron of the GMA and who served as the president of its Board of Trustees 1987 through 1989. Mrs. Webb was honored at a dedication ceremony in September 2011 for her passionate support of the visual arts and her generosity to the Greenville Museum of Art.
The GMA is excited about expanding its art education offerings, please check back as we add new classes and workshops to the GMA curriculum.
