Adult Classes

The Artist’s Studio with Gail Ritzer (all levels)

Enjoy one-on-one instruction in painting, drawing, printing, & mixed media in a supportive studio environment. All levels welcome!

Gail Ritzer received her B.S. in Art Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a M.F.A. in ceramics and painting from East Carolina University.

Cost per session/4 classes*:
GMA Members $60
Non-members $70

*Cost covers 4 classes out of each session, giving the students the flexibility to attend on the dates that work best for them.

Maximum number of students: 10

Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-12pm.

Session I: Jan. 2 – Jan. 18
Session II: Jan. 23 – Feb. 8
Session III: Feb. 13 – March 1
Session IV: March 6 – March 22




Textiles & Jewelry with Marie Hamra (all levels)

Learn fabric, mixed media, collage, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, quilting, and jewelry techniques while creating a unique piece of art. All levels welcome!

Marie Hamra, born and raised in Lebanon, learned the textile arts as a part of her Lebanese culture.

Cost per session:
GMA members $60
Non-members $70

Maximum number of students a session: 8

Classes will meet on Fridays from 1-3pm
Session I: Jan. 5 – Jan. 26
Session II: Feb. 2 – Feb. 23
Session III:  March 2 – March 23



All sessions are held at the GMA Center for Art Education.
